Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland ‘opens your mind to the ways of water’ in new campaign for Pump
A new campaign for Pump has just been released by Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland.
But this time, it goes one step further than just promoting the benefits of water. It encourages us to ‘Make like Water’.
With the help of an unlikely mentor, we are taught how to act like water to overcome life’s daily problems.
Refreshingly, it’s non‐preachy – just a bottle full of laughs.
The campaign launched online with Facebook and Pump’s Website where people can learn the 7 principles of water; with TV, ambient and outdoor supporting the campaign.

I tried to like it.
A fitting follow up to abstain from the game.
And the “i” who tried to like it is? Come on, if that “I” is worth posting, surely it is worth publication.
Come on, be brave chum, you are….
An unlikely mentor? Really?
I think the ads are funny but the dude in the tracksuit bares a remarkable resemblance to the guy from Police Academy who could make all the sound effects…
…were you the planner or something? if so can you explain WTF is happening here?
Anothernymous.
Jesus … Im sorry but these are awful. Just awful.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ……. it’s so ummmmm …… ha ha ha ha ha ha….. what did he say? ha ha ha ha….. I CAN”T UNDERSTAND A BLOODY WORD HE SAYS…….. C’mon Saatchis… simplify – go look it up!
Make like water and flush that shit down.
Should’ve stuck with Ogilvy.
Too many Creative Group heads and no one using their head at Saatchis. The end result, an ad that will go over everyone else’s head.
Hey S&S, you guys look like you are really trying. That’s refreshing to see, howver here’s the thing, no matter what people think about this positive or negative, my self included, I cannot help but be struck by how much better it might have been if the guy in the hoody was a guy from South Auckland bro! You guys need to stop living in the direlict Parnel building with your heads in those international awards annuals and get about a bit. Come on Nicky, make it compulsory!
Another stinker
either way it sucks.
It’s funnnnny.
I won’t make the mistake of saying anything negative about this because I can recall Saatchis people aggressively defending their work in the pink fist thread. I assume they were from Saatchis anyway because no one else would have. So here’s a positive that I can say about their new campaign: It doesn’t make me want to stop drinking water.
There’s not a lot to like about these. I had heard they were bad, but I was expecting a little better than this.
Love this campaign. Well done Saatchi.
Ha Ha … good one Martin…
