Creatives_of_Nightmare.jpgTwo winning campaigns from the same agency fold this month in August’s ORCAs. Ogilvy Wellington’s Nigel Richardson & Steve Cooper scared the ORCA out of the judges with their Consumer NZ campaign ‘Appliance Nightmares’.

Meanwhile, Adam Barnes & James O’Sullivan took the Merit for their KFC ‘Facebook/Double Down’ Campaign, written at Ogilvy just before they popped over to join DDB.

Richardson and Cooper pick up $500, limited editions certificates and get to host the ORCA Mark1 trophy until another creative team swipes it from them, whilst Consumer NZ win a $5,000 radio schedule.

Richardson, Cooper, Barnes and O’Sullivan now all go through to the Grande ORCA finals where they’ll be in to win the trip for two to the Cannes Lions.

This month’s judges were James Mok and Regan Grafton (DraftFCB), Phil Yule (Voicebox) and Kate Humphries (Media Design School).

ORCAs close the 15th of every month.
