Insight wins at Bravo! Global Healthcare Awards

Inisght NZ.jpg Insight are the only NZ winners in the regional celebration of the annual Global Healthcare Awards, celebrated at the Bravo! Awards last night in Sydney.

The Awards, honour creative and marketing excellence in healthcare communications. A partner event was held on the same night in New York to announce and honour the remaining international winners.

Australian agencies Saatchi &Saatchi and McCann Healthcare each took out two awards, while Insight and Ward6 secured one.

The 2012 Globals saw the introduction of two new awards for Healthcare Network of the Year and Healthcare Agency of the Year. McCann Health Sydney won the inaugural 2012 Healthcare Network of the Year.

Honouring local healthcare communications excellence, the Sydney Bravo! Awards introduced two additional awards for 2012; Hothouse Agency of the Year, honouring an agency that fosters and develops talent in account management, awarded to H&T Sydney, and Client of the Year, awarded to Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Reyataz team, nominated by McCann Health Sydney. The award was judged by Heather Albrecht (Digital Connections), John Cronan (Sudler & Hennessey) and Bill Curtis.

Margaret Zabel, CEO of The Communications Council, emphasised the importance of the Bravo! platform for the celebration of Global Award winners as a source of inspiration and motivation to healthcare agencies.

Says Zabel: “The Bravo! Awards are an occasion to recognise and reflect on the great creative work of that year. The winning entries successfully navigated strong regulatory demands coupled with the need for clear health messaging, and did so in a clever, and creative way. They set the bar for our agencies.”
