Colenso BBDO’s Samsung Galaxy Note campaign wins the IABNZ November Online Creative Award

Bromhead Nov Winner.jpgColenso BBDO has created a winning campaign for Samsung using legendary satirical cartoonist, Peter Bromhead to make the News available instantly online with Instant Satire.

 

Says Dave Nash, creative director at Sugar&Partners and judge: “I can imagine the complexity and commitment from both agency and client it took to deliver this cleverly simple idea. I think that’s what makes it cool – good old fashion magic!”

Fellow judges included Sam Ramlu, managing director – Method Studios; John Schofield, managing director – Catch!Media, Chris Long, creative group head – .99 and Alisa Higgins, general manager – IABNZ.

 

Says Schofield: “I love this one.  It’s a reminder that there are so many art forms that are yet to be translated into digital, and the live artist cartoon was one of them. Great product tie-in and fantastic use of content.  Just love it.”
