D&AD: three Yellow Pencil Nominations to FCB, two to Clemenger BBDO, one to Colenso BBDO – New Zealand ranked equal #7 in the world

NZI2.jpgNew Zealand has scored six more Yellow Pencil Nominations at the 52nd Annual D&AD Professional Awards, held all last week at London’s Kensington Olympia.

Three Yellow Pencil Nominations have been handed to FCB, the current CB New Zealand Agency of theSummaryScreen-thumb-400x257-89550.jpg Year: one for NZI ‘Devil’s Chair‘, created with Assembly, in the Animation for Film’ category; one for Brothers In Arms ‘Bank Job’ in the Direct category; and one for UNICEF ‘Food Photos Save Lives’ in the Mobile Marketing category.

Colenso BBDO NZ has scored two Nominations for Amnesty International ‘Trial By Timeline’ in theblazedNZ.jpg Direct Response/Digital and Art Direction for Direct categories.

Clemenger BBDO, Wellington scored a Nomination for its New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) film ‘Blazed‘ in the TV Commercials 61-120 seconds category.

In terms of Nominations, New Zealand is ranked equal #7 in the world with the Netherlands and Singapore, behind the UK, US, France, Australia, Brazil and Japan.

In-Books have been handed to DDB New Zealand for Lion ‘Be The Artist‘ and Clemenger BBDO New Zealand for NZTA ‘Expert Opinion‘ in the TV & Cinema category. In Film Advertising Craft Curious has scored an In-Book for NZTA ‘Blazed‘. Whybin\TBWA DAN has scored an in In-Book in Direct for Minds For Minds’ ‘Meeting of the Minds‘.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, May 22 at a ceremony held in London.
