The first new work for the brand delivered by Y&R was launched over the weekend. The campaign has a distinctive new focus that prompts Kiwis to consider what their annual power savings might really be worth to them.

Screen Shot 2014-07-07 at 10.03.39 am.jpgSays Scott Henderson, creative director – Wellington, Y&R NZ: “When you think about what we go through just to earn our shiny little pennies, it makes a lot of sense to hang onto them. The more value you place on the savings, the more reason you’ve got to take a couple of minutes and check your power deal.”

The campaign – that includes TV, outdoor, digital and ambient advertising – focuses on how simple, quick and easy it is to check your potential savings. As part of the campaign development, the ‘WhatsMyNumber’ website has undergone a refresh with some new functionality to further improve the user experience.

Says Todd Collings, programme and procurement manager, Electricity Authority: “We’re very proud of the new work and we are confident it will bring some fresh new energy to ‘WhatsMyNumber’.”
