The agency will work alongside Auckland Airport to develop and market The Landing and other precincts within The District – its 433-hectare business park incorporating retail, leisure, commercial and environmental zones.

Todd McLeay, chief executive officer says the agency is thrilled with the win and is looking forward to being part of the development of a business precinct that is the first of its kind in New Zealand.

Says McLeay: “We’re proud of the work that was put forward and are chuffed that the airport has embraced our ideas.”

Auckland Airport’s general manager of marketing and communications, Jason Delamore, says that the company was impressed by Whybin\TBWA’s interpretation of the brief, execution capability and innovative ideas that will create an ‘identity’ and sense of place.

Says Delamore: “We’re looking forward to working with Whybin\TBWA and seeing the ideas and identities come to life in this unique space.”
