Number One Shoes brings Cinderella to life in social media / public stunt via Starseed
Number One Shoes has brought Cinderella to life in a new public stunt in Auckland, involving digital, PR and social media, via Starseed.
Single heeled shoes were seeded out around Auckland with a drop zone map and live clues released through Facebook and bloggers. All Cinderellas got to complete their shoe fairy tale by visiting the Number One Shoes Albany store with their single shoe.
The campaign’s aim was to create awareness around the newly designed store layout.
Starseed worked on the official launch of the store with shoppers lining up at 6am to get it. The hype was created by an announcement that the first shoppers who took off their old shoes at the front door and walked in barefoot could choose any new pair they wanted.
