Following initial judging Colenso have had more campaigns shortlisted than any other agency with ‘Motel BK’ for Burger King making the shortlist for ‘Best Facebook Campaign’ and ‘Best Social Media Campaign’, V’s ‘V Robbers’ on the ‘Best Branded Game’ shortlist and Pedigree’s ‘K9FM’ a finalist in the ‘Best Interactive Audio’ category. Last year Colenso also had the most finalists (with three) and won the Best Branded Content Series for V Motion Project.

The Mashies are run by Mashable.com, one of the biggest and most respected tech / digital / social online publications in the world, with the awards shortlist reflecting their standing with entries from across the globe.

Neville Doyle, digital planning director at Colenso BBDO, explained why the Colenso team is so pleased to be in the mix with the best in the world once again at this year’s ‘Mashies’: “Increasingly, digital and social are playing a hugely important role in the advertising and brand communications for our clients. Mashable is a hugely influential site, and they see the very best from across the world. To be leading the way with four finalists at the ‘Mashies’ is recognition that we’re getting something right and that our ever-evolving social and digital offering is hitting the mark.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in New York on the 4th of November.
