10.jpgThe Marsden Inch Scholarship has been awarded to Julie Koch and Tania Menzies from the Adschool at the Media Design School. Marsden Inch has also awarded a second female team, Liz Henwood and Lowri Pountain,  with the new Inch Perfect Award for most improved team.

Koch and Menzies are already highly regarded and on their way to stardom as they’ve also won two International Crowbar Student Awards, The Student Newspaper Ad of the Year and are shortlisted for the 2015 Student Axis award.

Says Kate Humphries, CD, Adschool: “This is quite an achievement in a single year and reflects the hard work and effort they have put into the course, and they’ve done it all whilst being decent and lovely people to have around.”

The Inch Perfect Award is in recognition of Henwood and Pountain’s pure determination and attitude to get to the top of the game.

Says Humphries: “They’re also well deserving of the award, they’ve worked hard and with good humour throughout the year.”

This award mirrors the purpose behind the Inch Perfect Programme, a successful mentoring and finishing school for entry level creatives and suits striving to get into the industry.

Jeneal Rohrback, Marsden Inch partner, said that the judging this year for the Marsden Inch Scholarship was tough because there were so many top notch teams. The final choice came down to who scored the highest in all three categories –  Talent, Grit and Personality.
