Possums deliver their expertise on NZ roads for Toyota in new campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi NZ
Toyota has launches its latest campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, featuring NZ’s road experts Dave-O and Steve-O, the new faces of Toyota – two furry and devoted Toyota fanatics who live in a tree directly across the road from a dealership.
From here they can spy all the latest and greatest deals and until they come face to face with a big Hilux grill (one of their dreams), they’re content to just marvel about the world of Toyota.
‘The Real Road Experts’ add a little cheeky charm and humour to Toyota’s retail advertising. Dave-O and Steve-O will be appearing across Toyota’s TV, radio, digital, social, press and in store point of sale from today.

I love your Possum Ad. Its clever. I love Steve O and Dave O, Its really funny,
great to have something pretty light hearted to smile at, with All else
that is going on in our beautiful, but sad World.
I love the Ad where the two possums are having a fun ride in the back of the Toyota,
too, but have Steve and Dave been taken off. It has not been on for ages. I
really miss the advert.

So love the Toyota opossum ads. When I saw the first one I hoped there might be follow ups. Delighted to see there were and the fun that they’re having with life makes us laugh too. Good work Toyota.
