Robyn Budd_2.jpgOne of advertising’s key players in retail and shopper marketing, Robyn Budd, has returned home after 20 years abroad to take on the role of business director with Whybin\TBWA New Zealand.

Having worked as part of the global TBWA\ Group for over 14 years across America, Europe and China, and most recently as the vice president of Integer in Denver, Budd’s extensive knowledge of the agency’s ethos and client base is a welcome addition.

Integer is TBWA\’s global shopper retail and promotional marketing agency.

As VP, Integer, Budd headed up some of the world’s most successful advertising and retail campaigns for the likes of Visa, Procter & Gamble, The Pokémon Company International and Michelin. She also led much of the Group’s new business development, thought leadership practices and business vision for key accounts.

In 2007 Budd moved to Europe where she was tasked with establishing and growing Integer’s Paris office. As head of Integer, Paris, Budd was instrumental in growing the agency, increasing its client base and delivering against global targets.

Prior to her work with Integer, she held senior positions with Ogilvy in London and New York, as well as Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners in New York before moving to Los Angeles and finally residing in Denver.

Her strong pedigree in retail marketing, suiting and business development will be a huge asset in her new role at Whybin\TBWA.

Says Budd: “I’m excited to be home after a long time away, and equally excited to be part of Whybin\TBWA and Digital Arts Network. Our country is world-renowned for its level of creativity and innovation – it’s good to be part an agency that has such a strong reputation for its commitment to creativity and taking brands into new, exciting realms.

“Marketing in New Zealand has to be precise, insightful and inspiring in order to create the perceptual or behavioural change we are striving to achieve for our clients’ products and brands, and I’m looking forward to creating some really memorable and impactful work.”

Whybin\TBWA CEO, Todd McLeay is equally thrilled with Budd’s return.

Says McLeay: “Robyn has a pedigree in this space that’s really unrivalled. Our clients are going to be able to draw on Robyn’s vast experience in the advertising, retail and shopper marketing categories to deliver world-class experiences on home shores.”
