Originally from the UK and with over 15 years of digital experience, Rasile brings extensive international experience in digital communications for which he has won numerous international creative awards. He founded and was managing partner for United Studios based in London, a multi award-winning digital agency working with global clients such as MTV, Warner Bros., Unilever, Honda, Renault and Viacom.

Prior to that Rasile held the role of global production director for WPP Deliver/Wunderman to help centralise and manage its client’s global digital work for more than 70 markets via an efficient, high-volume, quality focused delivery model. This followed senior roles in agencies heading up digital creative services and production, most recently for VML London and LBi.

Prior to his agency career Rasile looked after small business marketing communications for Microsoft and AOL.

Most recently Rasile was business director at Touchcast. There he ran the client service team and was responsible for working with clients to research, define and execute digital strategies, campaigns, experiential events, content and service design solutions.

Says Jane Sweeney, managing director, Anthem: “We’re thrilled to have Raf join our team. His international experience, client service ethic and broad digital capability will be fundamental to the evolving Anthem offer. Most of our clients now require a digital element to their communications. We’ve been executing this with a range of great partners, but have always intended to bring these skills in house when we found the right lead.”

Rasile will work with Sweeney and Carolyn Kerr, Anthem’s general manager, to evolve a new consulting model.

Says Sweeney: “We plan to devise some new initiatives and approaches for clients. Our aim is to bring a digital focus to the corporate communications aspects of our work, as well as marketing campaigns. Clients are wanting fresh approaches and we think the interface of digital and PR skills is rich territory to develop new approaches.”

Says Rasile: “The best results for clients always come from an integrated approach to telling a story. The importance of digital in these conversations means it needs to be considered early and as part of a wider strategy. Anthem is already setting this strategy for clients and I can’t wait to help broaden the digital component of that thinking and approach.”

Rasile joins the growing Anthem team at the end of June.
