For all those that have struggled with email clusterfucks and information sharing, help is at hand from those masters of ingenuity in New Zealand.

ShowTools is a production system that simplifies the whole production process, giving people more time to spend lunching with clients, playing golf and getting more work in the door and with Showtools, users can be in the front seat of their car.

Producers: Never have a director ring you up and say they’ve lost the casting or location files ever again.  In fact we’ve got every director gripe pretty much covered and some.

Directors: Never have a producer ring you up and say the casting and locations are in the office for you to look at.  Stay at lunch and look at them on your iPad.

With Showtools users could actually put a whole production together sitting at home, book crew, book gear, get their casting and locations loaded, make a callsheet and all before their 4th beer.

As Socrates said: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

Kassler the man behind ShowTools has over 30 years in the film industry and conceived the idea 5 years ago thinking there must be a better way.
