Sugar&Partners lures ex-Ogilvy’s Dan Hughes for the role of account manager on Blues and Daikin

Account manager Dan Hughes has been lured to Sugar&Partners from Ogilvy to work on the Blues and Daikin Australasia accounts.

Hughes, a qualified lawyer, spent two years on the Rebel Sport account overseeing new brand work which featured hard man Brad Thorne delivering a poetic Eulogy to winter sports.

Says Damon O’Leary, CD, Sugar&Partners: “Dan’s a smart young suit on the rise and is sports mad into the bargain – which is a good fit for the Blues. As an Aussie – he’s also going to be great for our trans Tasman account Daikin.”

Hughes is one of a number of new appointments at S&P with more announcements to be made in the coming weeks following a number of new business wins for the K-Rd based agency.
