Linus Hjoberg joins OMD Wellington from Ikon New Zealand in the role of managing partner

LinusOMDWgtn.jpgLinus Hjoberg (left) has been appointed as the new managing partner at OMD Wellington. Previously he was the CEO of Mediacom Sweden and most recently, joint MD at Ikon New Zealand. With 25 years’ agency experience across major brands including Audi, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, P&G and 2 Degrees, Linus is passionate about building true value for his clients.

Says Hjoberg: “I have always admired the OMG network and the client offering they have from the outside, and it is such a privilege to now get the opportunity see it from the inside.

“OMD Wellington is an incredibly well-managed operation, and I’m thrilled to meet the clients, the staff and to continue to build on the brilliant work that Meghan and her team have done.”

After two years with OMD Wellington including a year as general manager, Meghan Signalness is leaving the agency to take on an international digital marketing role with a global beverage company based in Amsterdam.

Says Watson: “Meghan has made a significant positive impact on our Wellington business and I understand that her new role is a very exciting one that would have been hard to turn down. We all wish her continued success in her escalating career.

Linus will start his new role on July 3rd.
