Setting the benchmark for creative excellence worldwide, the definitive rankings and analysis from the annual Cannes Lions Global Creativity Report has been released.

Former Colenso BBDO, Auckland’s Simon Vicars and Andre Sallowicz (pictured) ~ now at adam&eveDDB, London ~ take the #10 spot in the Global Creative Director Rankings.

In the Global Copywriter rankings Vicars is ranked #4 while Sallowicz is ranked #4 Art Director. It’s the second year in a row the pair has made the Cannes Top Ten. Vicars is also the only Copywriter in the last decade to make the list three times (2013, 2016, 2017).

As reported back in June, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne was crowned Cannes Agency of the Year. The latest report reveals that Colenso BBDO Auckland is ranked #7.

The Global Creativity Report showcases the award-winning work, highlights the world’s most creative countries and cities, agencies and networks, and identifies the trends and themes at the heart of branded communications. Results from Cannes Lions, Lions Health, Lions Innovation and Lions Entertainment are incorporated.

The Global Creativity Report also features full listings for special awards, including Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Holding Company of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year, and is available on the Cannes Lions Archive, where the report can be viewed in full with an archive subscription.
