The incorporated society, whose mission is to keep Kiwi communities clean, safe and beautiful, has given the agency its first brief; a national integrated campaign which will focus on keeping New Zealand beautiful for locals and tourists by reducing litter.

This will be the first major above-the-line campaign for the organisation since its ‘Do the Right Thing’ and ‘Be A Tidy Kiwi’ campaigns, which ran in the 1980s and 1990s.

Says Dan Martin, CEO of FCB New Zealand: “Our proven expertise in social change and Keep New Zealand Beautiful’s goal of changing Kiwis’ behaviour around littering make this a natural partnership.

“We’re excited to be working on a brief that’s fundamentally important to protecting New Zealand’s beautiful landscape.”

Says Heather Saunderson, CEO of Keep New Zealand Beautiful: “We are very excited about the appointment of FCB. Their experience and expertise in behaviour change is exactly what is needed to help us move towards a better New Zealand.”
