AA Insurance encourages Kiwis to live a little freer in latest brand campaign via DDB NZ
AA Insurance has launched a new brand campaign via DDB New Zealand called ‘Live a Little Freer’, which follows three Kiwis’ quest to live life worry-free.
DDB has brought the story to life by following the journey of three characters who embody freedom, confident in the knowledge they are protected with AA Insurance.
A loveable superhero kid, an older gentleman, and a woman in her car are portrayed as carefree, as life’s dramas play out around them.
DDB’s executive creative director, Shane Bradnick, says the Live a Little Freer campaign takes a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek approach to insurance.
Says Bradnick: “The campaign is designed to show how freeing it can be knowing AAI has you covered when life gets complicated, whether that be mother nature or a particularly tricky carpark.
“Across all of our work for AAI we’ve been trying to create a consistent feeling, which is making insurance products understandable and engaging for Kiwis.
“We’ve succeeded in doing that and it’s fantastic to see the work to date driving growth for the business.”
AA Insurance head of marketing and distribution, Richard Park, says the campaign embraces the brand’s personality and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Says Park: “We are incredibly proud to launch our Live a Little Freer campaign, it reinforces our commitment to provide certainty and eliminate stress for our valued customers and allowing them to live life freer every day.”
The integrated campaign will roll out in TV, cinema, digital, social media and radio.

Why you bring the cinematographer from the Handmaids Tale to shoot this is a complete waste of money…..taking the piss. Waste of clients money and very old school arrogant.
How the f&*k did you even know that it was the cinematographer from Handsmaid Tale? Seems a very specific, personal gripe/ Thought the ads were funny, and very un-insurancey otherwise.
They make people smile
Great to see a client spending money.
As for the ads? See you at the repitch.
Where can I buy the weather vane of the girl and boy skipping ! Love the ad but love that more
I want my Tiny Dancer back.
Sick to death of your “Born Free” ads
Ruined the song and over played.
Had enough!!
