In fact, Underpants have recently a completed a 5 min Film for China’s biggest car -maker ‘WEY’, which I feel boasts some of the best animation/VFX work (they also directed the live action) that I have seen for quite awhile. They also did some stunning work on the Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Greatest Showman’ before that.”

Douglas continued:  “I have known the Underpants team for quite sometime now. I still consider them to be one of the most exciting and original directing teams around. Although they have a terrestrial office in Auckland, they will be working across our offices in Shanghai, Manila and Hong Kong, as well as globally and remotely, depending on the logistics of the job. I am still amazed at the huge amount of resources at their disposal to produce their work”.

Guidera added, “Boundaries between production and post are becoming blurred and that provides huge opportunities for fresh ideas and creative innovation. Collaborating with the team at PixelBox allows us the opportunity to develop a global platform for marketing Underpants via PixelBox’s international networks.”

“PixelBox and Underpants are now in a position to offer some of the very best animation/VFX work across the region,” added Douglas.
