Moser’s replacement is Jim Gall (right), founder and CEO of Redhanded Communications, which Clemenger purchased 4 years ago. He will move to Auckland to fill the role.

Moser will move into the role of CEO of Clemenger Marketing Services, which includes all the Australian Clemenger Group companies, except for CHE Proximity and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Sydney.

Says Robert Morgan, executive chairman, Clemenger Group: “Jim Moser has done a fantastic job leading our extremely strong and diverse New Zealand operations. New Zealand accounts for about 30% of our Group profits and an even greater share of our creative reputation. New Zealand punches well above its weight on both counts. In his time in New Zealand, Jim Moser has made many friends and business contacts and has been a great coach and leader across our businesses.

“Clemenger Group New Zealand deserves to have a CEO located in New Zealand dedicated to developing and nurturing the Clemenger Group interests. To foster the many and diverse companies and great people that make us what we are.”

“His replacement will be Jim Gall, founder and CEO of Redhanded Communications, Clemenger purchased 4 years ago, and more recently chairman and CEO of Marketforce / OMD Western Australia.

“Gall is a true entrepreneur having founded his own agency, which is dedicated to developing advertising and media solutions in the agricultural and rural sector. It is a highly creative, best-of-class operation.

“He is a true leader. A great advertising and people person. He also knows how to build businesses and develop people. He personifies our Clemenger Group values.

“Gall will start on 1st November 2018 and move his family to Auckland in January 2019.

“Moser will take on the role of CEO of Clemenger Marketing Services – that is, all the Australian Clemenger Group companies other than CHE Proximity and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne / Sydney. He will of course still have some client involvement with Clemenger BBDO clients.

“Clients are expecting us to be ‘easier to work with’ and to deliver truly integrated solutions. They want best-of-class advice and coordinated solutions. This is a major priority for our Group.

Each of these businesses is different and deserves to be developed accordingly. At the same time, we need to make it easier for our clients to work with us, so having Jim overseeing all of them makes sense on both counts. In addition, he will be responsible for a number of Group wide initiatives – including people development, training and Group new business.

“Taking over from Jim Gall at Redhanded will be Lachlan Drummond currently managing director. Lachlan has been groomed for this role for some time having been at Redhanded for over 5 years. Lachlan will ensure a seamless transition of this best-of-class agency.

“Jim Moser, Jim Gall and Lachlan Drummond are outstanding executives and these new roles represent exciting new challenges for them. These appointments demonstrate our management depth and seamless succession for our business.”
