Chris Jen Ant (2).jpgOff the back of winning top honours at the 2018 TVNZ Marketing Awards (Supreme Award) for the 2nd time in 4 years, indie Parnell agency Rainger & Rolfe has ramped up its creative offering with the hire of creative director, Chris Long (far left).

Long joins from 99, where he’s spent the last five years. During that time he was involved in numerous award-winning campaigns for clients like New World and Genesis Energy, most notably picking up a Gold Effie for work on women’s shoe brand Ziera.

Says Ant Rainger (above right), managing partner, Rainger & Rolfe: “This is a gamechanger for us. CMOs and marketing managers are crying out for a fresh, responsive creative resource that understands them and knows how to help them grow. Chris is perfect for this. He’s got the ideal blend of brand, digital and activation skills, and that’s exactly what our clients are asking for. Plus he can make communications sparkle, and we love that.”

Says Long: “I’m stoked. I’ve been really impressed with what Ant and Jen (above centre) have achieved over the last few years, so it’s great to be a part of what they’re building. Plus they’re good sorts, which is always nice. Now I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. There are lots of opportunities currently on the boil – everything from brand building, brand awareness and activation projects through to mobile, social and digital programmes, even some untapped opportunities in non-traditional advertising channels. Exciting times ahead. Now watch this space!”
