Hell Pizza offers something on the side this Valentine’s Day in new work via BC&F Dentsu

NZdating.jpgWhile Valentine’s Day is nice for some, many people think it’s overrated and a little old fashioned. It’s impossible to get a table, impossible to get a car park, and even before contending with that, you also have to get a date. It’s a logistical nightmare. Hell and agency BC&F Dentsu, wanted to challenge the idea of Valentine’s Day, relieve some of the societal pressure around the event, and let people know that they don’t have to follow the masses out to overpriced restaurants and bars.

So, Hell went straight to people looking for dates online to offer them an alternative: The pleasure of their own company, and dinner for one.

Tinder.jpgSays Jason Buckley, marketing manager, Hell: “We didn’t want anyone to be left out this Valentine’s Day so we thought we’d put something together for the folk who might have left their Valentine’s planning to the last minute, and maybe make them feel a bit better about flying solo.”

To do this, Hell created the ultimate Single’s Pack that lets people truly embrace their solitude. The pack contains one corn nugget, one chicken tender, one potato wedge, one crumbed camembert bite, one onion ring, one dip, one serviette, and while stocks last, one movie ticket. All for just $6.50. That’s one cheap date. And if you have a mirror round the house, the conversation is guaranteed to be interesting.

The Single’s Pack is being advertisedTinder2.jpg exclusively on well-known dating sites and apps (NZDating.co.nz & Tinder) this Valentine’s Day. The ads offer a viable alternative to the stress of Valentine’s in the form of a night at home and a takeaway.

Who needs tender love, when you’ve got a chicken tender?
