Australasia's leading colourists join VFX house Blockhead for representation in New Zealand

Blockhead_Colourists.jpgNew Zealand VFX house Blockhead has announced its new roster of 10 colourists.

Says Josephine Mackenzie, executive producer, Blockhead: "In response to market demand we're now offering clients access to the best graders in the region. Directors, DOP's and editors are already working between NZ and Australia, so it makes sense that colourists operate in the same way."
Nigel Mortimer, Blockhead owner and VFX artist, also sees this as the future.

Says Mortimer: "Australia has seen this model go from strength to strength over the last few years. It's the way forward for the industry and allows people to hand pick the right person for the job. Stef and I are really excited by the move."

Joining locals Pete Ritchie and Clare Burlinson are Christine Trodd, Billy Wychgel, Martin Greer, Ben Eagleton, Yoomin Lee, Scott Maclean, Fergus Hally and Trish Cahill.
