Holden NZ gives a classic piece of Holden history a new life in latest film via Ogilvy & Mather NZ

Screen Shot 2014-08-27 at 8.04.22 am.jpgThe 60 years celebration continues for Holden, with the integrated part of the campaign, via Ogilvy & Mather New Zealand, kicking off this week.

The campaign follows the restoration of a 1969 Holden Monaro HT GTS. The tired old Monaro is the hero of the campaign launch film, which uses integrated typography to evoke kiwis' Holden memories, inviting them to share their own story to be in to win the Monaro once it's fully restored.

Says Angus Hennah, executive creative director, Ogilvy & Mather New Zealand: "Holden has always been part of the fabric of this country. We wanted to use a classic part of Holden's history, to invite kiwis to share their Holden stories with us."
Fronted by Greg Murphy, kiwis can also follow the Monaro's restoration via a series of online films. They will get to watch this piece of motoring history being restored back to its former glory.
Says Marnie Jane Samphier, GM Marketing at Holden: "When we began talking about this campaign, it quickly became evident that everyone has a Holden story. Rebuilding a piece of our history, and giving it a new life with a deserving new owner that shares a love of our brand, is a great way for us to reinforce the fact that Holden is here for the long term."
