Lee-Tucknott.jpegSpringload has announced the appointment of Lee Tucknott to the position of UX director.

Currently head of design at Trade Me, Tucknott will bring great experience to Springload in the development of UX teams as well as in design and product thinking. During his career he has helped deliver useful and meaningful digital products to businesses in the UK, Australia and New Zealand including setting up internal UX capability at Coles in Australia.

Tucknott’s appointment comes on the back of recent growth for Springload. The agency recently opened an Auckland office in Britomart, as well as moved back into the newly earthquakestrengthened Hope Gibbons Building in Wellington.

Says Tucknott: “I’m delighted to be joining Springload. The challenge of growing the company both here in New Zealand and internationally is a really exciting one that I’m keen to be a part of. The Springload team show genuine integrity and a desire to deliver meaningful and useful digital experiences, working collaboratively alongside their clients. These ideals are things that I share.”

Says Bron Thomson, managing director: “For Springload we’re super excited to have Lee join our team. We’re extending and refining our offering in providing endtoend, insightdriven digital solutions, and having Lee on board will help greatly with this.”

Tucknott will start at Springload in early May.
