Both join from high profile and successful leadership roles in Australia and New Zealand respectively.

Brown returns to FCB Media from her most recent role as general manager at Atomic 212, Australia’s largest independent media agency. She previously worked at FCB Media six years ago before moving to Sydney. During her time at Atomic the agency won Australian Media Agency of the Year and experienced significant revenue and new business growth. Her client portfolios have included Rockstar Games, Westpac, Revlon and Danone Nutricia.

Says Brown: “FCB has always been an awesome agency backed by smart people and great clients. The recent diversification of FCB Media’s services and continuing strength of its integrated offering makes it really exciting to be back.”

Butcher arrives at FCB Media with extensive digital media experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Returning to New Zealand in 2014, James was general manager of Mi9, one of the country’s leading digital media companies, before moving to Pandora’s New Zealand operations as national sales director. At Pandora he drove 25% year-on-year revenue growth, launched the company’s programmatic offering and developed new commercial opportunities through partnerships across the music industry.

Says Butcher: “The opportunity to join the team at FCB was just too good to turn down. An agency and group of people I have always admired for their culture as well as the quality of their work. What they have achieved to date speaks for itself, I’m incredibly excited about what the future holds for us.”

Says Rufus Chuter, managing director of FCB Media: “Jenny and James are two exceptional media leaders that bring experience, energy and unique skills to the team. It’s testament to our model, vision and culture that talent of this caliber has chosen FCB to continue their stellar careers.”
