An ice-skating hippo takes centre stage in new campaign for Instant Finance via Contagion

True to its word and encompassing a full rebrand Contagion has launched the new campaign after winning the creative pitch of over 10 agencies which has lasted 4 months.

Says Bridget Taylor, executive creative director, Contagion: “This is the very first brief Todd and I worked on together. From that first day we knew the key was creating work that elevated Instant Finance as a brand. That bought to life the all possibilities they enable. I’m enormously proud of this work which has been made possible thanks to the trust, vision and collaboration with our clients Adrian Hatt, Richard de Lautorre and their amazing team.”

Says Dean Taylor, CEO, Contagion: “Contagion pitched for the work against some great agencies last year and were thrilled to win it. The planning process and partnership with the client was phenomenal. The new work is inclusive and really gets to the heart of the fact that we may all need some help at some point, but it doesn’t have to seem impossible.”

Says Todd McCracken, creative director, Contagion: “For a lot of people in our society, something as prosaic as getting a new washing machine or even getting their car fixed seems about as possible as flying to the moon. Especially if they’ve been knocked back for a loan by their bank. The strategic direction is all about separating what’s really impossible from what just seems to be – by showing something that’s completely and utterly outside the realm of possibility, makes that loan you’re applying for seem allot less daunting.”
