Screen Shot 2019-02-05 at 9.50.22 am.jpgNZ Rugby has launched its latest campaign to build excitement that Investec Super Rugby -  home to some of the most exciting rugby in the world - is about to kick off. The new campaign by Special Group enlists some of New Zealand's biggest risk takers and rugby greats to help show what's on the line. The season-long, multi-layered campaign is spearheaded by a 45 second film revealing the psychology of sport at the highest level featuring legendary cricket risk-taker and rugby fan Brendon McCullum.

Says Tony Bradbourne, ECD, Special Group: "Super Rugby is high-stakes unscripted excitement - with rugby creativity and skills at an incredible level. The campaign highlights this, and is a real call to arms to fans, franchises and players."

Says Stu Mallarkey, digital creative director Special Group: "In 2019 the stakes in Super Rugby are even higher as it's World Cup year with no mid-season break, with five kiwi franchises battling for up to four finals spots.
