DDB NZ CEO Justin Mowday to sleep out in mean streets of Auckland for the Lifewise Big Sleepout
DDB New Zealand’s CEO Justin Mowday has signed up to sleep out on the mean streets of Auckland tonight to help raise money for those who are homeless and sleep-out every night part of the annual Lifewise Big Sleepout.
Says Mowday: “It’s a great cause, and it’s an embarrassment that people in our city have no shelter in the middle of winter, so let’s try and do something about it.”
To support the cause, please donate at: https://bigsleepout.org.nz/page/justinmowday.
Mowday will be stripped of creature comforts, exposed to the elements and given insight into what it means to sleep rough. With only a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard for bedding he will be joined by other influential Kiwis as he takes a public stand for Auckland’s homeless population at the annual Lifewise Big Sleepout.
Every dollar raised will be directly applied to Lifewise’s unique “no band aids” approach to homelessness.
Says Mowday: “So before I bed down on a slab of concrete I’d love to ask if you might sponsor me. Please back me and please back this worthy cause.”

Go well Justin. This is a great cause for an issue that shouldn’t exist here in New Zealand.
Martin Devlin just ripped into this on radio sport.
It was glorious.
There’s a really warm place outside the K Road fire station.
